Survival Of Planet Earth

Greetings,

This is my first blog.

I invite discussion and viewpoints on what we can do to insure the survival of our planet.

I will start by sharing an experience I had in Vienna Austria.

Some of our music was used in a film on the environment that was produced by scientists, media and government in Vienna. I was asked to come and sing at the debut of the film.

I sat and listened to the information the scientists brought forth and the passion they had to reach the public. I got up to sing my song it All Comes Down To Love and I was compelled to offer my viewpoint.

I said that I was so moved by what they were doing but the bottom line was that people have to care. We have to love ourselves enough to really love our planet.

In one of my presentations I say that our view of the world is a direct result of how much we respect ourselves.

If we look at our world what does it tell us about our ability to love and respect ourselves and each other?

It seems to me this is a good place to start to insure our survival.
